Multi-User Plans:
designed for
the demands of business, we offer dial-up for occasional
requirements. For steady business demands, we offer
several Broadband plans, including DirecWay@
2-Way Satellite available anywhere, DSL (where available),
ISDN, T-1, and more. We offer DSL where available. DSL
depends upon the local telephone company and is only
available where their facilities have been upgraded. We
offer T-1's/T-3's if you need them. 2-Way Business
class Satellite service is available anywhere a clear
view of the southern sky is available, and will offer a
reasonable speed for a reasonable cost. Several
bandwidth packages are available. For most small to
medium businesses, 2-Way Satellite Broadband is the best
source. If you operate multiple data centers across
the state, country, or world T-1's with a
backup of DirecWay@ 2-Way Satellite Broadband
will keep your network reliable.

DSL:
Telephone companies and their competitors offer DSL service
in some areas, now, and more areas are planned. DSL
normally operates at around 128 kilobit uplink, and around
384 kilobit downlink. If it is available, this is
usually your best choice, unless you need much more
bandwidth. If you need more bandwidth, then you will need
dedicated designed circuits such as T-1, etc. DSL service is
only available in selected areas, and deployment of DSL has
been dependent on Political and Economic restrictions.
|
ISDN:
Integrated Services Digital Network lines are available from
your telephone company. You, the subscriber, pay for
the construction costs of 'conditioning' the telephone cable
that will carry the service, and you will have to purchase a
special modem to operate the service. This ISDN line
will support your internet connection and you can have a
telephone line working on the same pair of wires at the same
time. You can purchase service from 56Kb to whatever speed
and bandwidth that your pocket can stand. |
Satellite can reach any area with a clear view of the
southern sky. Satellite is load sensitive, but reallocation
of customers to different nodes (transponders) does not
require physical rewiring of cables on poles, digging up of
streets and alleyways, or yards. Satellite offers comparable
service to DSL or Cable and is now available through out the
48 continental United States. It currently is not available
for Hawaii or Alaska. For businesses that are located
in suburbs, semi-rural areas, or rural areas, satellite is
an excellent choice. In fact, it may be the only choice.
Long Rural telephone circuits are rarely reliable, nor
support the kind of speed required to carry on a business or
process credit card transactions. Satellite is
reliable It has one major advantage. It is available
now, anywhere a clear view of the southern sky exists.. |

Cable:
Many areas are now being served by Cable DSL services. Cable
DSL is load sensitive, and as additional customers are
activated on the same 'node' with you, bandwidth will begin
to narrow. In order for cable company to correct loading
problems, customers will have to be moved to different
'nodes'. This requires some re-cabling of cables on poles,
under streets and other rearrangements. Cable is
available in many areas, but may not be available in remote
areas or smaller communities. Cable is a good choice, where
and when it is available |
T1:
Dedicated circuits from point to point. Most come with
reliability guarantees and very high degrees of maintenance.
