Installation
Here’s what happens
-
You place an order for DIRECWAY high-speed Internet by satellite by filling in a satellite request form, here, by calling (409)659-1478, or by emailing us at satellites@ringadingdesigns.com and we will get back to you by return phone call or by email to verify your location and details.

A professional installer calls your house or contact number to schedule a convenient appointment, this will occur within 3 business days.

The installer arrives at your house at the agreed-upon time and installs the dish and modems.

The installer can guide you through installing your DIRECWAY Software on your PC, if you need help.

The installer then helps you commission your account, and you start enjoying DIRECWAY!

At any time that the installer determines that you need custom installation work, he will discuss this with you in advance.
Your monthly recurring charges will be billed on a credit card. We will ask you for the credit card information to perform a credit qualification for the 99/99 plan. If you do not qualify for the 99/99 plan or you prefer to pay up front, you may pay for the equipment and installation by credit card, check or money order, but the recurring charges will be billed to a credit card.
It’s that simple!
Included in Installation
-
Install a coaxial cable jack in the room where the DIRECWAY System will be located.

Route two exterior RG-6 coaxial cables (each up to 100 feet in length) from the dish into the house, and to the coaxial cable jack.

Provide and install the hardware required to properly ground your DIRECWAY System
-
Install the DIRECWAY modems and connect them to your PC.

Verify receipt of satellite signal.

Load the DIRECWAY software onto your PC, or if you prefer to load software yourself, the installer will guide you through the process.
Complex/custom installations that may result in Additional Fees
Make sure you discuss any planned custom
work with your installer
before
he begins the job.
Custom work includes, but is not limited to:
Moldings or cosmetic hardware to help hide cables
Non-penetrating roof, pole, or chimney mounts
Installation of DIRECTV receivers and cables and/or complex connections to stereo/audio components.
Driving distances of over 35 miles to the job. Mileage may apply.
Missed appointment. Please call us if you will be unavailable at the appointment and wish to reschedule.
Removal and/or repair of previously mounted equipment. (a signed Waiver of Liability must be included to perform this work).
Mounting to a roof surface that exceeds one story in height
. Call (409)659-1478 to place an order or fill in a request. A representative will contact you to verify location and installation instructions.
